Q In what languages are the videos available?
Some are available in English, Spanish, Cantonese, Japanese, Mandarin, Polish, Russian, Vietnamese and Classical Arabic. Some of the videos feature native-language speakers on camera; they are not dubbed translations.

Q How many videos are in the library?
A Over 3,000 video titles are available. See the Products page for the number of titles in each library/series.

Q Is learning retention better with video than text handouts?
A
Research has shown that people remember approximately 5 percent of what they read, 15 percent of what they hear and 64 percent of what they hear and see. (McGraw-Hill) This is why video is recommended over any other form of communication.

Q How long are the videos?
A The videos were produced to accommodate tight schedules and short attention spans. Illume titles average 3 minutes (Illume Clips average 45 seconds), Healthi titles average 4 minutes, MD titles average 7 minutes, Better Health titles average 15 minutes (Better Health Clips average 3 minutes), X-Plain self-paced tutorials average 14 minutes, Health Kiosk titles average 3 minutes.

Q How is your library of titles different than your competitors?
A A few of the major differences are:
1) the number of titles in our library, it is the most comprehensive library available in the world
2) the video content, it is not influenced in any way by pharmaceutical or medical device companies, no sponsorships, no advertising
3) the age of our titles, the library is the newest on the market

Q Can the site be branded with our name and logo?
A Yes

Q Can we track the volume or usage of the site by our people?

Yes

Q How often are the videos up-dated?
A They are continually reviewed by accredited medical professionals. Outdated content is replaced immediately with updated information. New videos are added as new research and procedures are released.

Q If an employee wants to share the information or video with a spouse, parent or adult child, is it possible?
A Yes, and we encourage it.

Q Not all of our employees have access to a computer and some are blocked from the internet, are there any other options?
A Yes, we can work with you to find the most convenient delivery for your employees, insured’s or patients. It is possible to place the content on your intranet, LMS (learning management system) or designated “kiosk” computers in your Wellness Center or Human Resources Department. DVD copies are also a possibility.

Q Is it possible for you create a video on a particular topic for us?
A Yes, custom productions are produced on a regular basis; just let us know what you need. We have produced hundreds of awarding winning videos ranging from employee orientation to health topics. Continuous-play looped videos can be created too for waiting areas, health fairs, etc.

Q Can you provide us with a comprehensive package?
A Yes, through our partnerships we are able to put together a custom package of Health and Wellness tools. Let us know what components you want and need.

Q Do advertisers influence the content?
A Our videos are non-biased; the content is evidence-based, factual information. No advertising, sponsoring or 3rd party funding of ANY kind is involved or allowed.

Q What are the computer requirements for viewing the videos?
A Employees can access the videos from their personal computer at both High-bandwidth (DSL, Cable) and Low-bandwidth (Dial Up) connections utilizing either the RealPlayer® or QuickTime® plugin.

Q Are you HIPAA compliant?
A Yes… NO identifiable employee/patient information is transmitted or saved, nor is any medical coding utilized. There is no risk of any confidentiality being breached at anytime.

Q Is tracking possible if we want to monitor for reward purposes or for compliance reasons?
A Yes…. Custom programming can be done so you can track if someone has viewed a video. Quizzes and tests can be added if you want to assess understanding and retention.

Q How do you charge and how much does it cost?
A Licensing fees are based on a number of factors... the library, the number of videos being used, the delivery format/platform, how the videos are being used and/or what they are being used for.  We will be happy to prepare a price quote for you based on your needs.
